Working With Time Markers
Time Marks are timeline elements that indicate where Splitt should divide the movie. Along with being visible on the timeline, these markers are also listed in the Marker Table to the left of the document window.
Adding a Time Marker
To add a Time Marker, click the Add Marker button ("+") on the control beneath the Marker Table. This adds a Time Marker at the current location of the playhead. The new marker will also appear in the Marker Table with a thumbnail image from the movie.
From the Marker Table, markers can be enabled or disabled by checking/clearing the check box next to the thumbnail image. Markers are drawn in black when they are disabled.
Changing a Time Marker
A Time Marker can be dragged to any position along the timeline. When a Time Marker is disabled, it cannot be changed.
For more accurate time, you may switched to Precise Navigation mode by double-clicking on a Time Marker. This action turns the marker red. At this point, you may use the left- and right- arrow keys to move forward and backward by one frame thru your movie. Using the key combinations of Command-left-arrow or Command-right-arrow will advance by one second forward or backward.
To exit Precise Navigation mode, press the Escape key.
