Working With Images
Getting images into Ombre
The Tray, to the left side of the document window, contains all images you can work with in Ombre. Each image is displayed as a thumbnail with the name underneath.
To place images in the Tray, click the Add Images item on the toolbar or select the Tray > Add Images… menu item on the main menubar. Alternately, you can drag the files from the Finder or another Ombre project and drop them on the Tray. You may also copy/paste tray items between Ombre projects.
Tray Actions
To remove a set of images from the tray, select the ones you want and then press the Delete Key. Alternately, you may simply Swipe Left ver a desired tray item and you will be presented with a "Remove Image" action. Swipe Right to show the image location in the Finder.
Other Tray Operations
The four-segment Image Actions button above the Tray allows you to perform the following actions:
Export - copies the converted image to a user-specified disk location.
Start Slideshow - display a standard Mac OS X slide show with the converted images from your Tray
Share - provides converted images from your Tray to available internet services and other applications on your system.
Show Info - displays details about the currently selected Tray items.
Filtering Tray Items
Sometimes, you may find it useful to limit the images that are visible in the Tray. To do so, select one of the following options:
Use the Tray Filter located on the right of the toolbar. Images displayed in the Tray will be limited to items with a name containing the text string entered in the Tray Filter search field.
Preview Operations
Dragging the preview image allows you to share the post-processed image with other image-editing applications. You may also Copy and Paste the preview image between applications.
In addition to dragging the image on to another application, you can also drag from the preview pane to the Finder to create a new file containing the image.
