Exporting Movies and Sharing
Inside the Export Process
ChapterWork transfers all (modern) non-chapter tracks from the source movie to the output destination without re-encoding. Existing non-chapter track associations (e.g., subtitles, time code, etc.) are transferred to the output without changes where possible.
New and existing Chapter Tracks are implemented as a text media and associated with a user-specified language. All new chapter tracks are placed in an Track Group, with the Default Chapter Track enabled. Note: The track that used for playback will be determined by the media selection criteria at playback time.
Track groups that exist in the source movie are copied to the destination, if and only if none of the existing chapter tracks is a part of the group being transferred.
